اقتحمت مجموعة مسلحة قبل قليل فرع البنك الموريتاني للتجارة الدولية BMCI بحي سانتر أمتير بتفرغ زينه، حيث أخذوا مبالغ مالية وغادروا في سيارتهم.
وقال أحد عمال البنك للأخبار، إن المجموعة تتكون من خمسة أشخاص مسلحين، مؤكدا أن أفرادها أوقفوا عداد الكهرباء مع اقتحام البنك لمنع كاميرا المراقبة من تصويرهم.
وأضاف أن المهاجمين كانوا مقنعين وأشهروا السلاح في وجه عمال البنك، مؤكدا أنهم غادروا بكل مداخيل البنك اليوم الجمعة دون أخذ مبالغ أخرى في الخزانة.
كما أوضح أن المجموعة التي هاجمت البنك تستقل سيارة من نوع أفانسيس مظللة الأبواب وبدون لوحة أرقام.
وقد وصلت الشرطة إلى الفرع البنكي، فيما توافد سكان الحي والمارة وسط حالة من الفزع.
