قالت وسائل إعلام أمريكية إن السيناتور الأمريكي البارز ستيف سكاليز، أصيب في الورك كما أصيب مساعد آخر على الأقل في صدره على يد مسلح ببندقية فتح النار أثناء تدريب لرياضة بيسبول في فيرجينيا صباح اليوم الاربعاء.
وقالت الشرطة وشهود إن مسلحا فتح النار خلال تدريب لرياضة البيسبول حضره ساسة أمريكيون في الإسكندرية بفرجينيا اليوم الأربعاء مما أسفر عن إصابة عدة أشخاص بينهم سكاليز.
وأعلنت الشرطة أنها “تعتقد أن المسلح رهن الاعتقال”.
وقال السيناتور مايك لي لـ “فوكس نيوز” إن المسلح قتل. وأن موظفا استخدم حزاما لوقف نزيف سكاليز.
وبثت وسائل إعلام امريكية صورا أولية من موقع الهجوم.
